Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to present for sale this rare Fiddle Pattern, Glasgow marked caddy spoon with an impressive and splendid large shell bowl. The spoon has the initials 'MA' engraved on the terminal. An utterly beautiful example of Scottish tableware and is an ideal gift or a 'must have' item for a collector. This is one of the best quality and beautiful Caddy Spoons that I have seen, a stunning piece of Scottish tableware, beautifully made.

Pattern: Fiddle with shell bowl

Dimensions

Length: 11 cm

Weight: 20 grams

Condition Report:

In very good all-round condition with no signs of any significant damage, just light tarnish spots and light surface scratches consistent with age particularly to the handle of the spoon. There are some very tiny dints to the shell bowl that could are possibly manufacturing flaws and one larger tarnish spot to the bowl. Please see the photographs as this forms part of the condition report.
