Here we have for sale a truly elegant and desirable fine quality early 19th century William IV period fiddle & thread pattern hallmarked solid cast silver caddy spoon with extremely pretty shell bowl, the terminal of the handle with a period monogram set into a lozenge.

Silversmith: is listed as an unregistered mark of William Chawner II, this spoon is certainly of the correct quality and style to have been produced by Chawner rather than William Collins.

Year of manufacture: 1832

Weight: 19 grams

Length: 10 cm

Condition report: In excellent condition for age of 188 years with only light surface scratches and tarnish marks.
