Here we have for sale this elegant early 20th century George V period Gothic arch, Art Deco Solid Silver five bar toast rack in very good condition.

The rack has a distinctive Gothic arch ring handle and the partitions mirror the handle and have a gothic arch that are reminiscent of the arches seen in a Gothic church. The rack can hold four pieces of toast at one time and is an exquisite example of Viners silverware.

The toast rack is in overall very good condition, however the silver is slightly bent on one side (where the date mark etc is) which is hard to see in the photos, there is also some deep tarnish marks on the interior of the rack, so could do with a deep clean to bring it back to its former glory.

This toast rack has been in my family since it was new and is a marvelous piece of 1930s, pre war silver that is usable, beautiful piece. This toast rack would be a stunning Birthday, Christmas or Anniversary present for a loved one or a fine addition to your own silver collection.
