Susan William Ellis.Susan who died aged 89 on November 26 2007 made a major contribution to British design and was the driving force behind Portmeirion.She travelled frequently which became an inspiration for many of her well known ceramic designs which were very popular in the 50s and later on.Portmeirion is still a family run business to this day. This Coffee Set has a Greek style geometric look to it.There are no cracks or damage to the set which comprises of 6 x cups/saucers,1 x coffee pot ,1 x milk jug and 1 x sugar bowl.There is expected wear to the gold guilding but this is minimal.Very collectable and full set
