A pair of antique Japanese Meiji period oval photo frames coloured albumen prints dating from circa 1900. The frames are in a burgundy lacquered finish with beautifully hand painted stylised heron and bamboo. The frames are glazed. These rare and highly decorative antique frames would make wonderful decorative pieces or would make beautiful photo frames for your own photographs.
