Description

A handsome antique Georgian inlaid mahogany writing desk dating from circa 1800. Featuring a small raised gallery top over capacious twin drawers with satinwood inlay and turned brass handles and beautiful paterae inlay to the centre. It stands on tapered square legs united by side stretchers. A good size, offering plenty of work and storage space, would also make a good dressing table.

Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Missing brass castors (just cups remain).
