Description

An elegant antique Victorian Arts and Crafts open armchair or desk chair in walnut dating from circa 1890. In beautifully figured walnut, featuring an arched top rail over unusual wavy back splats with shaped arm supports and standing on curved and tapered legs. A really good quality chair that would make a wonderful desk chair or bedroom chair. The fabric is frayed and worn to the front.

Frame in good condition, lovely age and patina to the walnut and solid and sturdy. The fabric has some marks and is frayed and worn to the front, the upholstery under is sound.
