Description

A very good quality and unusual antique Edwardian walnut Arts and Crafts side chair dating from circa 1900. In beautifully figured mellow walnut it is profusely painted with vine leaves and harebells, the carvings with gilt decoration. Featuring a carved arched top rail over a back splat with turned spindles and standing on turned and fluted legs. It is upholstered in a wonderful chinoiserie tapestry style fabric. Would make a great dressing table chair.
