Description

A large and handsome antique Victorian mahogany folding cheval towel rail or clothes dryer dating from circa 1850. This mid-19th century example has four folding panels with three bar rails on a platform base with scroll feet. Of large, country house size, it is in good condition with wonderful colour and figuring to the mahogany frame. Solid and sturdy it is perfect for hanging or drying towels/clothes while adding a touch of elegance to a period bathroom.
