Description

A very good quality Early 19th Century Regency period boat shaped canterbury in delightfully well-figured warm coloured mahogany dating from circa 1820. With dipped top and four dividers, the central divider features a very useful pierced carry handle. It has a single frieze drawer and brass drop handles and is raised on elegant turned legs terminating in its original brass cup castors. A really attractive good quality piece and a good size it would make a wonderful newspaper stand or magazine rack.
