Description

A charming antique Edwardian tub chair in mahogany dating from circa 1905. In a richly figured mahogany with satinwood inlay to the back and extensive stringing to the legs, arms and front seat rail. The back comprises 3 splats the central splat featuring a pierced fretwork and inlaid design with bows and harebells . It has shaped supports to the arms and stands on slim square tapered, out-splayed legs. It is upholstered in a brocade type fabric.

Good condition. Reasonably solid and sturdy (slight movement). Wear and marks commensurate with age. Upholstery in good clean condition.
