Description

An elegant antique Edwardian mahogany and inlaid double bed dating from circa 1905. In a richly figured mahogany frame, the headboard and footboard inlaid with satinwood inlay. Featuring an inlaid central oblong splat flanked by four vertical splats below a serpentine top rail. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails which make a very solid bed fame. (no base or mattress included).

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy with good original patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. At some point the legs have been shortened and the rails raised slightly – with the original holes visible below.
