Description

An impressive large antique late Victorian walnut framed overmantle mirror with original bevelled mirror plate dating from circa 1895. Standing at just over 4ft tall (122cm) it has a carved frieze with dentil cornice above a rectangular bevelled mirror plate flanked by reeded columns. It has two carved spandrels to the base and stands on small bun feet. A nice sized, good quality overmantle with a good warm colour and patina to the walnut frame and original mirror plate with nice age and wear.

Good condition with some minor wear and marks commensurate with age. Really good warm colour and patina to the walnut frame. Bevelled mirror plate is original with some general age related wear, light foxing and loss of silvering in places.
