Rare Early All Original 12" Robbins & Myers Feather Vane Oscillating Desk Fan. This Early "Flat" Base Feather Vane Oscillator still retains an amazing original finish with original pinstripes still very visible and present. Acquired from a very prominent collection, this was the premier example acquired by this collector over a long collecting career. We cleaned and serviced the motor and adjusted the feather mechanics for smooth operation. Brass retains beautiful original patina!! Guard still retains its original brass flag which has survived nicely. Examples likes this rarely come out of collections and once acquired become longtime placements as upgrading an example such as this is almost impossible. I do believe the feather to be a replacement at some point in the fans history but is spot on for an original look and material. A Staple Fan For The Serious Collector!!
