Rare Original Condition Westinghouse Gyro Ceiling Fan. This wonderful example has been lovingly cared for by 2 life long fan collectors for the past 30 plus years. Examples like this are becoming so difficult to find!! Being in the hands of collectors for most of its life has preserved this example. Nothing draws more attention than a gyro fan in operation!! This example has been fitted with original brass guards which adds scale to the fan and safety in a lowered ceiling setting. It is amazing how smooth this fan is while in operation. Brass has been polished at some point and has started to develop a patina. Original cast iron ceiling canopy is still present, making this example 100% complete and original. Beautiful fan, ready for life with its new curator.
