Circa 1902 GE Trunnion Mounted 12" Pancake Fan. Another Fresh To The Market Offering From A Large New England Area Collection. One Of The Most Popular Model Years, The 1902 Model Feature An Ornamental Squatty Base, Back Switch Pancake Motor, Pinned Brass Guard With Iconic GE Logo, And Cast Brass Hub Blade. When Found, The Collector Remembered The Finish Being "Just Not Clean Enough" And Utilized The Talents Of A Local Car Restorer To Refinish. Painted Finish Is Absolutely Stunning!! This Fan Was Finished 30-40 Years Ago, Looking At It Today One Might Think It Was Painted Last Week. Finish, Body Work, And Depth Of Color Are Superior. Brass Components Were Polished When The Fan Was Restored And Left To Age Naturally. Fan Operates Perfectly On 5 Distinct Speeds. Front Bearing Feels Tight Possibly From Minimal Use From The Area In Which It Was Found. Beautiful Example Of An Iconic Fan.
