Beautiful All Original 1909 (Second Variant) 12" GE General Electric BMY. This Fan Has "The Features" Collectors Desire In Early GE Big Motor Yoke Design! Base Design Is Heavily Influenced And Carried Over From GE's Pancake Line Of Fans. The Centrifugal Switch Motor Design Was Introduced With The 1908 Model Big Motor Yoke Fans And Carried Over To This Line Where Designed Changes Eliminated The Need For It. 1908 Model Had A "Flat" Strut Which Mounted To The Front Of The Motor Casing Redesign Happened With The 09' Model Moving The Struts Mounting Location To The Out Side Of The Motor Housing. Brass Appears To Have Been Polished At Some Point In The Past Few Years. Patina Has Started To Develop And Will Continue To Age Nicely If Left Unlacquered. Has New Twisted Cloth Covered Headwire And Power Cord. We Have Serviced The Oilers Adding Fresh New Wicks And Oil. Highly Desirable Fan That Continues To Increase In Value.
