The Pullman Car Company, Founded By George Pullman, Was A Manufacturer Of Railroad Cars In The Mid To Late 19th Century Through The First Half Of The 20th Century, During The Boom Of Railroads In The United States. Though Rapid Late Nineteenth Century Development Of Mass Production, And Takeover Of Rivals, The Company Developed A Virtual Monopoly On Production And Ownership Of Sleeper Cars. With The "Hotel" Like Feeling Of These Coaches They Contained All The Amenities Travelers Would Desire. Diehl Manufacturing Of Elizabeth NJ Was Contracted To Provide Fans For Pullman Coach Cars. We Are Pleased To Offer A Circa 1908 Pullman Coach Wall Mounted Fan. This Example Has Been Professionally Restored And Ready To Install On Your Wall. The Finish Is Pullman Green Accented By Hand Painted Gold Leaf Pinstripes. Blade And Cage/Guard Have Been Finished In A Rich Gold To Compliment The Pinstripes.
