Lovely first period Worcester medium size sauceboat with strap handle and moulded pattern of panels and flowers framing 3 reserves on each side and below the spout. Painted with The Fisherman & Billboard Island pattern, c.1760, classed as "uncommon" in Branyon, French & Sandon, section I.B.15. Blue crescent mark.

It measures 17cm (6 3/4") long, 9cm (3 5/8") wide and 9cm (3 5/8") high.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear. It has an underglaze smoothed nibble on the rim from manufacture and 2 small firing lines, one under the foot and the other under the handle. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
