A stunning c.1905 WMF Art Nouveau claret jug, marked with the WMF “G” ostrich mark (date range 1903–1910) and originating from Geislingen-an-der-Steige, Germany.

The jug features a lead green glass body with a pierced naturalistic Art Nouveau pewter stopper, and a gracefully curved whiplash handle. The base is beautifully detailed, depicting two women bathing, a hallmark of the period’s flowing, organic design.
