Fine little William IV mahogany fold-over supper table c.1830. A little smaller than many we see at just 34″ wide. Stands flat against the wall as an elegant console table, or turn and open the top to make a useful square table for four. Solid mahogany leaves with a rounded edge, raised on a square column with acanthus leaf carving and a gadrooned base. On a shaped plinth and four scrolling acanthus leaf feet with original small brass castors. Typical old wear to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
