William IV, English Silver Coffee Pot c1830


A good antique, William IV, English Sterling Silver Coffee Pot made by Michael Starkey, London and dating from c1830.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "M.S" for Michael Starkey, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "p" for 1830/31.
It measures 8 1/2" inches (220mm) in height. The weight is 738.0g/26oz/
It is in very good condition, a lovely coffee pot. There are engraved initials to the front (see photo).
