Circa 1920, neat sized oak gossip chair by Wheelers of Arncroach. The back in the Chippendale style with an open crossover fretwork splat and curved top ends, over a blue velour drop in seat. There are large square legs to the front and slightly outswept back legs, united by multiple stretchers. The Wheelers had many collaborations with Sir Robert Lorimer and executed several of his designs.
