This lovely vintage table lamp looks to date from around the mid-twentieth century. It is in the classical style with a cast bronze figurine of a cherub kneeling on a marble base. The lamp is of lovely quality, but there are no maker's marks that we can see. The lamp retains its original fitting and shade, but has been later re-wired and is in good working order.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. It is in good working order. There is some grubbiness and wear as might be expected, and some tarnishing to the metalwork. The marble base has an area of repair. The shade is grubby and has some discolouration and glue staining. There is some fraying and holing to the shade and the braiding is coming loose in places. The shade holder arms have been basically repaired.
