A vintage Stratton compact mirror made in the 1950s. This beautiful gilt handbag mirror is in superb condition and it has not been used. All the original accessories are present.
The compact is ideal for loose face powder. This slender mid-century accessory has a lid adorned with gold embossed leaves and fine branches. The mirror gives an accurate and clear reflection. The powder well lid is signed 'Stratton'. The base is decorated with smooth tone gold stars. Please excuse the reflections from the studio lights on the base. Measures 2 3/4" and weighs 79.6 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
