Vintage 'Rya' Rug in Orange, Gold & Brown
A fabulous 1960s mid century shag pile 'rya' wool rug in shades of orange, brown and gold in exceptional condition. This rug is very soft and luxurious with extra long pile, and has almost no signs of wear.
This richly coloured vintage rug was made using the Scandinavian rya technique and as such has a long 3" pile. Unfortunately it's lost its label, but is believed to be a wool mix with cotton backing. The colour is a rich orange with shades of gold and brown. Measuring 75cm by 140cm, it makes a fantastic accent rug to bring a dash of mid century colour and style to your room.
The rug has no marks, holes or thin patches, and smells clean and fresh. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions. Please get in touch for further details on any item, including additional photographs or video. You are welcome to view any item by appointment.
