This is a very attractive solid silver cigarette case - a lovely quality piece hallmarked in Birmingham assayed in 1927. Nice clear halmarks for maker John Henry Wynn of Birmingham. Measuring 3.1/4" inch (7.9cm) x 3" inch all clasps and hinges are in good order. The front is exquisite with a beautiful applied enamel picture of a horse and a vacant cartouche, the base, slightly bevelled for ease of handling is fully engine turned - a really nice quality piece, showing only minor signs commensurate with its age and having been pre-loved - a little bit special and in a condition that will certainly not disappoint.
