Beautiful black oak tall carved side chair c1880. This unusual victorian oak chair has a very tall back rest with a heavily carved back panel, carvings include a hawk like bird and a tall plant with a thistle type flower plus scrolls etc..... Carved scrolled top rail and barley twist side supports to back rest.... Seat is solid oak and is supported by turned legs , side stretchers and to the front a scroll carved panel between the front legs.....
