The dresser is an early 19th Century piece, it is made in the Georgian style with two drawers to the base and standing on long turned legs
The front of the dresser has a carved frieze and carved drawer fronts with brass lion’s mask handles, the plate rack on the top has matching carving on the front of the shelves
The shelved part of the dresser has three shelves with grooved plate holders and Oak plank back boards
This is a real country piece would work well in a Victorian Farmhouse Kitchen or Living Room,
This attractive dresser is soundly constructed it has no loose joints or wobbles, there is a little shrinkage in the back boards but nothing much
