Victorian Solid Mahogany & Leather Desk Side Chair


A fantastic Victorian chair in solid mahogany, beautifully upholstered in green leather. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.
It is of extremely fine quality, with beautifully carved legs. It is very comfortable, and is a perfect size to be used as a desk chair.
The condition is excellent for is age, we have just given it a light clean and the frame a fresh wax polish. The frame is clean and sturdy, with a wonderful patina. The green leather upholstery also has a beautiful patina, with no rips or tears.
Width – 17 inches , 44 cm
Depth – 21 inches , 54 cm
Height – 34 inches , 87 cm
Seat height – 18 inches , 46 cm
