This is a Sterling Silver Early Victorian Embossed Childs Christening Cup, with a deep embossing of a country cottage by the river with a young lady with her dog. The cup stands on a textured finish castellated pedestal foot.
The cup has been engraved “Pat” above the river.
It is hallmarked London 1843, with the makers mark for William Eaton.
Height...............3½ inches.
Diameter of foot...........2½ inches.
Weight..............96.5 grams.
