Victorian Set Of Six Walnut Dining Chairs
-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
An elegant set of six Victorian walnut dining chairs of good quality.
c1870.
Having balloon backs with carved decoration.
Stuffed serpentine shaped seats, over carved and scrolled cabriole forelegs, with sabre back supports.
Lovely rich warm colour to the walnut.
Upholstered to a very high standard using traditional methods. The fabric in a blue velour, with a blue trim.
The condition to five of the chair frames is excellent antique condition, all very strong and sturdy. One chair has had a break to the back leg, which has been mended and strengthened with a metal plate, the chair is very strong and sturdy. The fabric is overall unworn, with minor marks and signs of use.
