Victorian Rustic Heavy Oak Swivel Desk Chair

An attractive antique desk chair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.
The chair sits on a swivel base with four splayed legs and shapely armrests.
The rear of the chair has a spar back design.
The chair has a height of 34" (86cm) with a backrest height of 17" (44cm), an overall depth of 18.5" (47cm), a seat height of 18" (46cm), a seat width of 18" (46cm) and a seat depth of 17" (43cm).
This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the seat area and some of the edges from past use. There is a little play to the seat but it is nice and firm to sit in. One of the small rear spars has a slight break.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. That is supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest for many years to come.
