Victorian Rifles sword 60th Kings Royal Rifle Corp
Victorian Rifles Officers sword, 60th Kings Royal Rifle Corps in its steel scabbard. Steel hilt with copper wire bound shagreen grip. Finely etched curved blade and marked as by Legassick & Gutherie, 18 George St, Hanover Sq, London. The acid etched blade is etched with a bugle, VR, Cross flags, 60th Kings Royal Rifle Corps and foliage. Has several blade edge nicks, otherwise in very good condition for age. Scabbard has a few small dents.
Approximately 98cm overall and blade 81.5cm.
