Victorian Mahogany Octagonal Campaign Lamp Table
This nice antique lamp table dates approx. 1870. The table is constructed from mahogany, some solid, some veneered. It has an octagonal top with shaped edges, an octagonal column, and is supported on a triform base terminating in short bun feet. Originally the top and the base of the table would have unscrewed, although the top has been fixed at some point. For this reason we believe that it was possibly a campaign piece.
Condition - Overall this nice piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratching and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall slightly faded. The table has some marking, fading and wear to the top. The top is also slightly wobbly.
