This is an English, antique, Victorian library table dating to c.1860.

This modest, 19th century table displays beautifully in contrasting, complimentary tones of light and dark mahogany.

The top is well figured in book matched, quarter veneered, flame mahogany and edged in a dark shaped moulding above a lighter apron.

A pair of ring turned columns rise from classical brackets united by a generous turned stretcher finished with finials at either end. Beneath, a robust plinth is raised on solid scrolled legs providing a very stable platform for this fabulous little table.

Superb quality with solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
