Victorian Mahogany Leather Top Writing Table
A fantastic original antique Victorian writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.
It is a lovely size, not too imposing yet offering plenty of work space. The quality is amazing, with solid mahogany construction, and a gorgeous inset gold tooled leather top. The back is beautifully polished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The drawers have lovely turned mahogany handles and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. The legs are also beautifully turned and very sturdy.
We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout for its age.

Depth – 21 inches , 53 cm
Height – 29 inches , 74 cm
Knee height – 24 inches , 60 cm Please be aware this item may be in our shop or our warehouse - please contact us prior to visiting.
