Circa 1870, Victorian mahogany kneehole writing desk. The reverse breakfront top with a moulded fore-edge and a panelled writing surface in burgundy hide with gilt tooling over 3 frieze drawers with brass locks and mahogany liners (sign of quality) and brass ring handles. All supported on pedestals, each with 3 conforming drawers, above plinth bases on bun feet.
