Victorian Mahogany & Velvet Howard Shape Armchair
This is a very handsome Victorian armchair in super condition with solid mahogany turned legs with their original brass castors. The chair is soundly upholstered in this beautiful deep plush velvet. The chair has an elegant "Howard" style shape and the frame is in good sound order as is the upholstery, ready for years of service. The chair is an appealing shape and very comfortable and dates from around 1870.
The chair measures 76 cms wide 98 cms deep and 90 cms high. The seat height is 38 cms with 56 cms between the arms and 60 cms depth. This is one of two Victorian chairs we currently have listed, upholstered in the same deep green plush velvet, please see our other listings for details.
