A lovely bow front chest. We date this chest to the mid 19th century.

The chest sits on four bracket feet.

The main chest consists of six graduated drawers, three over three. The drawer fronts and front feet have a lovely inlaid design. The drawers are fitted with drop handles mounted on oval backplates and are fitted with locks (key is supplied).

The chest has a height of 39" (99cm), a width of 45.5" (115cm) and a depth at deepest of 22.5" (57cm) at deepest.

This lovely bow front chest remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some wear around the feet primarily to the rear of the left hand side back leg. The handles have been replaced with period handles at some time in the past.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
