This is a fine quality Victorian oak hall chair. The chair has a beautiful carved cartouche shaped back in the shape of a shield and attractive period scroll carving. The seat is solid oak with a serpentine front. The chair stands on turned legs to the front with straight legs to the back. This attractive and solid chair is in good condition. Seat Height 44cm. circa 1860
