A good English Silver Marrow Scoop, made in London by H J Lias & Son (Henry John Lias & Henry John Lias) and dating from 1876.
It is hallmarked with the London town mark, the Lion Passant silver mark, monarchs head duty mark and the date letter “A” for 1876/77. It has the maker's mark "HL/HL" for H J Lias & Son (Henry John Lias & Henry John Lias) .
