A Victorian Rosewood Davenport inlaid with boxwood, satinwood and stained woods. 4 mahogany lined drawers to R.H. side, 4 false drawers to L.H. side, all with original brass handles. Top gallery lifts to reveal stationary compartment with space for ink wells etc. The replaced hand dyed green leather writng slope lifts to reveal a 2 drawer interior. Freestanding with polished back, standing on its original castors. Fully waxed and cleaned, one or two bumps and bruises associated with age and use.
