Superb Victorian bronze of a male figure on wooden plinth in excellent condition. This wonderful bronze is of a musician sitting on a stump playing a Hurdy Gurdy with a small dog at his feet. Dressed in a cloak and hat with a happy expression on his face this bronze is very detailed. Hurdy gurdy is a mechanical violin played by turning a handle with keys worked by the left hand.
