This is a large and exquisite Victorian silver locket pendant on a really long and thick oval belcher link chain.

It is a beautifully crafted piece in the Aesthetic style, with highly detailed engraving on both sides and an equally elaborate frame.

The locket is 4.5 x 3.8 cm big (not including the bail).

The chain has an extended length of 73 cm and a large ‘C’ catch.
But since it easily goes over the head due to its length, it’s not actually needed, unless you want to double it up and wear it as a choker. 

Probably not original to the locket, but it’s definitely old and of a matching style.

Total weight: a heavy 58.6 grams!

Both locket & chain come in excellent condition and would make a fantastic gift.
