A superb unused Stratton 'Princess' loose powder compact which was made in the early 1950s. This compact is suitable for use with all loose face powder, part of a collection or as a handbag mirror. This delightful high quality enamel compact mirror comes with the original box. The original pouch, puff and sifter are present and never having been used they are pristine. The enamel is as bright and beautiful as the day it was made. There isn't any fading or loses. All hinges and clasps work perfectly. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The base and inner lid are decorated with an engine turned design of vertical lines. The compact is signed 'Stratton' within a square cartouche. Measures 3" and weighs 92 grams.
