An exceptionally beautiful and rare silver plated 1960s Stratton powder compact in superb condition. This compact has not been used and it is suitable for loose and compressed face powder. The whole exterior case is silver plated. The lid is decorated with satinized engravings which catch the light and the whole piece looks splendid. The original accessories are present - the presentation box, pouch, instruction leaflet, signed puff and a beautifully stitched velour edge sifter. Please note that on image three the red letters of the instruction leaflet are reflecting on the interior mirror frame. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. The base is signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. This item is so well made it will never tarnish or need to be cleaned. Measures 3 1/4" and weighs 102.7 grams.
