This is a fine Art Deco french bronze by Constant Roux. The Gladiator bust stands on a green marble base. The condition is excellent and it has a good patina consistant with age.
The bust including base is 28cm high and 26cm wide. This is a well documented piece that has the artist signature and bares the foundry marks for Susse Freres, Paris.
The bronze is featured on page 902 of 'Bronzes, Sculptors and Founders' by H.Berman. Please contact us with any queries. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or paypal.
