Its a not long till next season and the Ashes, this would make a superb present for that cricket fan.
A highly unusual subject for Simeon. He has in the past painted several football matches but this is the only Cricket Match that we are aware of. This picture is not set in his beloved Cornwall but is perhaps a scene from a trip from his home county of Cheshire to neighbouring Lancashire, the smoking chimneys in the background hint of an industrial area reminiscent of Staffords friend Lowry. An outing not to be missed by Auntie Dot & Trixie!
