Fabulous quality inlaid rosewood davenport with lidded stationary and pen holder compartment with original ink pot . The shaped inlaid top with presentation plaque for 1886 (see photo 5) . The boxwood strung fall with replaced green hand dyed leather with gold and blind tooling which lifts to reveal a mahogany lined interior and 2 drawers with brass pulls . To the right side are 4 mahogany lined drawers with opposing dummy drawers all with original pierced brass handles . The front with a beautifully inlaid centre and flanked by well carved vase and foliage panels. Standing on short shaped legs with original brass castors and brown porcelain wheels .
